I can assess your decorating needs and help you decide on your overall goals in about an hour! During this visit, we can rearrange your existing décor and discuss your decorating needs (including accessories, window and wall treatments, and paint colors and finishes) for your entire home or just one room. I will always try to use your existing materials before incurring any additional cost.
Personal Shopping
Often there is a need to shop for specific items like furniture, accessories, and window treatments, just to name a few. Many homeowners do not have the extra time in their busy schedules to shop for that perfect lamp or chair, or perhaps they simply don’t enjoy shopping and would rather someone else do the shopping for them. Many retailers offer discounts to interior decorators and designers, so I can often save you money by shopping for you or with you.
Plan 1
- Written plan with specific suggestions for bringing your decorating needs to life
Includes furniture arrangement (floor plan) for proper traffic flow, accessories and their proper placement, suggested wall and window treatments, and paint colors/finishes.
Plan 2
- Includes everything in Plan 1, as well as finding and hiring subcontractors for various services such as flooring installations, painting, hanging light fixtures, and many other available services to make your home look its best. Placement of décor is included in this plan.
Home Staging
Many times people try to sell their home with little or no success. Home staging includes making a few simple and inexpensive changes to the interior or exterior that can make a substantial difference in the ability to sell your home. The cost of this service varies, depending on how much “staging” is needed.
Holiday/Seasonal Decorating
Are you a "Scrooge" when it comes to decorating for Christmas? Let me help! I can put up and take down all holiday and seasonal décor. I can shop for and coordinate your seasonal decorating items. I will also provide storage containers at an additional cost.
Organizing
Does your living or work space have the potential of being beautiful and functional, yet, you aren’t able to see the beauty due to the beast of misplaced items? I will help you find a place for everything and put everything in its place. I will also help you decide what to sell, throw away, and/or donate. I am not a trained professional in this area, but I am able to see your space and see the potential!!
Prices and Schedule of Availability
Prices vary depending on size of job and amount of time required. I have an hourly rate and a project rate. Once I meet with you to discuss your decorating needs, I will be able to let you know how much your project will cost.
My hours are by appointment only.
Whether you just need a little boost to help you get started in decorating your home, or if you simply want to walk in to a fully decorated home, I can help. You can be as involved in the decorating process as much as you want! If you simply need help deciding on a paint color or finish, but want to do the rest on your own – Go for it! I’m happy to have been of service to you.
